Pondering.....

Caleb is cruising while holding onto furniture! I'm so excited as I think this is the first step towards walking! Everyone is predicting it will be by ten months, but I guess we'll just have to see! I am so proud of him and he's getting so big so quick!!! It breaks my heart to see him growing into a little boy, but I am so proud as well. Ryan and I are raising a human being that will do something big with his life. I just know it! I'll pulling for him to be a football star and then maybe go on to become a doctor. A momma can dream, you know?

I'm absolutely exhausted from hurting so much with this whole gallbladder thing. I'll be so thankful that Friday is approaching quickly. Work has been tough because I feel nauseated all of the time. Everyone I have talked to about it said that it was the best thing that ever happened to them. I'm really looking forward to some relief! My aunt Kelly has been so sweet on Facebook. She has prayed with me and checked up on me every day. Mom has eleven brothers and sisters, so we don't all exactly get together every Sunday evening for dinner! It's sweet of her to make an effort to keep up with it!

It looks like my table may sell! I will be so excited to get a nice dining table. I think this is my year to host Thanksgiving with Ryan's family, so I want to have some room for us to sit and enjoy a meal. I have also researched some recipes for Fall and Tara's upcoming wedding shower! I have found a really exciting site. When you get a chance, check out All Recipes. They have a way to save recipes to your own recipe box and make a shopping list from your selected recipes. You know how I get about my lists!!!!

They have a section of "kid friendly" recipes. I've always wondered about that kind of stuff. Other than cute entertaining ideas, shouldn't kids eat what the adults fix? Maybe it's foolish of me, but I want to raise Caleb to try different foods and tastes. If I cater to his preferences while he's young, how would that happen? I've heard of kids eating chicken nuggets and mac and cheese mostly. Heck, they even joke about it on TV. Do parents just give up at a certain point or fight it out? I wonder if that will happen to us...Caleb seems to eat so well and doesn't snub any kind of food!

Ryan and I are in the process of decorating another couple of walls in the living room. I have finally gathered just the right pictures and we've laid out all of the possibilities before hanging anything! I'm so excited to finally have some of our family pictures on display. I have such beautiful pictures of Caleb and Zoey and I want to be reminded of them everywhere I look. We have so many happy memories already and those babies haven't even been here a year yet! Speaking of the upcoming birthday of some special angel in our home, I found the perfect cupcakes!!!!

Aren't these cupcakes just the cutest????

Here is the recipe.
You know where I found it.....

As you can probably tell, tonight is a little random.
I go off on all sorts of tangents when I feel rotten....

Now hubby has promised me some snuggling in the recliner and a movie....

Don't bother watching Why Did I Get Married, Too?  It was absolutely depressing and a far cry from the wonderful movie it was based off of! I was mad for about an hour after watching it! HA! I flitted around saying, "That was just crap!" at random times because it was so unbelievably awful. If you loved the first movie, you may find yourself hating the second one.....
