This will not be a bright and shiny post this time. A friend I have known for almost ten years lost her unborn child last week. She went in for a check up and there was no heartbeat. This pregnancy was such a surprise and the couple was overjoyed. Now they must deal with an almost unbearable loss. I know in my heart that when the time comes for them to have a child, this lady will be such an amazing mommy. She deserves this on so many levels that my heart hurts for her. I'm terrible at knowing just what to say in a moment like this. This is just one of those times that God's word does it so much better....
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11
Please pray that my friend finds some comfort while dealing with her loss and finds strength to go through this....
We'll definitely be praying for them. I can't even comprehend her pain, but we'll be praying that they can find strength.
