Ham and Cake Balls!

No, not together!!!

I made a ham the other day and wanted to just give you the recipe...

I took a spiral cut ham and placed it cut side down in a pan. Then poked holes in it and topped it with brown sugar and one can of Coca Cola. I baked it on 350 degrees for ten minutes per pound. I also took toothpicks and stuck cherries and sliced pineapples on it. I covered in foil for the baking process. Let me tell you, this is just awesome!!!

Ryan has already eaten maybe half of it....

Now I borrowed the cake balls recipe from Kelly's Korner and also my cousin, Amanda, makes them and has just raved about them!
I changed mine up a little and they are so wonderful!

I baked a chocolate cake according to the package directions. As soon as it came out of the oven, I crumbled it into a large bowl. I made sure there were no large pieces. Then I mixed in a tub of chocolate icing. When everything was moist, I stuck it in the fridge for an hour. Then I took a small scoop and made the little cake balls. Last, but certainly not least, I melted chocolate chips and dunked them in to completely cover them. I set them out to harden and instant happiness occured!!! Ryan came in and devoured about four. That is entirely too much chocolate at one time, but when you start eating them you literally cannot stop! They are beyond heavenly!
If I can find the time, I am going to try a lemon cake with white chocolate next. I'm hoping I can get them done before Christmas, but we have a ton going on this week!

Ryan's dad got into town from Texas this morning, my stepkids are arriving in two days, and I still haven't wrapped all of the gifts! Eeek!
