Mommy-Caleb Weekend

Hubby decided to go hog and bear hunting this weekend, so that left just me and Caleb to fend for ourselves for weekend entertainment! While Ryan sat out in the woods in the freezing weather not shooting a thing, Caleb and I had an absolutely great weekend! On Friday night we visited Giggi for a bit and she gave us our first set of cookie cutters. I think we have every shape and letter imaginable! After we left, we met Debbie at the mall and walked around. Of course Caleb had to play in the little play area....

I didn't get many pictures because there were forty-seven million hyper children running wild around us. Caleb wanted to jump right in and I don't think he realized how small he was compared to the other kids! Then again, I don't think he would have really cared either...

We then went to dinner at Panera Bread where we proceeded to get covered in mac and cheese. Caleb sat with me while he ate his food and before I knew it everything had a dried film of cheesy goo on it. As if that wasn't enough, he then proceeded to stick his messy hands in my salad and dig around. It's a good thing I didn't mind sharing with him....he loves salad. I'm not really sure if he has any food aversions at this point....

Notice the dried cheese on his mouth and shirt???

He also shared his messy self with Aunt Debbie too!
(I don't think she minded much! Ha!)

On Saturday we did some more Christmas shopping together. He makes a nice shopping buddy since he likes to look at everything around him. I know it won't last for long so I might as well enjoy it now. Caleb spent today with his Nana and Pappy and I have missed him terribly. It's difficult spending so much one on one time with him and then going back to just evenings. There are days I'd love to be a stay at home mommy, but I don't know how my evergy level would ever keep up with him! I think I would crave adult interaction too much as well! The fine line working moms walk....
