Caleb just went down for his afternoon nap, so I thought I'd recap his morning. While I was at work, Caleb and Daddy admired all of our snow. Ryan opened the back door so Caleb could touch the snow. When Granddaddy dropped me off at the house, he came in for a short Caleb visit. He was terribly excited and wanted Granddaddy to hold him the entire time. When my dad went to leave, Caleb thought he was going with him. When he was sat him down, Caleb threw himself around crying. He was better after a nap and his first grilled cheese sandwich. Ryan and I decided to take him out into the snow for the first time. It took probably fifteen minutes to get the kid ready to go out for only five, but it was worth it!
"What is this?!?!"
"Mommy, I can't stand up!"
"I like it!"
"Best day ever!!!!"

Adorable I think He has your Smile!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute expressions!!! That's so funny (and true) 15 min prep for 5 min fun!
ReplyDeleteWe have been hoping for a bit of snow here, but nothing since November! Of course I won't want it to stick around for tooo long when/if it does finally come... Just long enough to go sledding. lol
Hi, I'm Cammie from Flutterbys and Frogs! I came to see your blog after you linked up to our Women in the Word on Wednesdays! Thanks for sharing such a sweet story! We have had snow in the Dallas area too, and my son LOVES to play in it! :) But it's just like you said, you spend so much time getting ready to go outside, you are out for just a fraction of time and then it's right back inside to peel those layers off!
ReplyDeleteLove and Blessings
Cammie
So cute! Love the look of confusion on his face as he is checking out his gloves!
