Bento Box Lunches

I'm looking for some creative lunch ideas for Caleb to take to "school". I feel like we get in a rut with his little toddler meals. I was flipping through the Pottery Barn Kids catalog and noticed cute little bento boxes. I googled bento box lunch ideas and really got into it. The idea of a bento box comes to us from Japan. It's a sweet way that mothers show their little ones they love them. The idea behind it is that mothers put effort into surprising their children with precious designs and healthy lunches.

Look what some of these mommies do:

You can learn how to make these HERE!
Any kid would feel special with a lunch like that!
So, what exactly does a Bento Box look like?
I checked out Amazon last night and these are some that I found....

What other supplies are handy?

Cookie cutters for cute animals shapes...
Silicone muffin cups to hold veggies or fruit...
Small knives to cut intricate details...

I still love the one from Pottery Barn and am ordering it today....
I love the seperate compartments.

It's a fun way to show your kid you care!
If you're creative, then this is totally for you...
If not, google some ideas!
You could use leftovers from dinner to make healthy, creative meals that your kid actually wants to eat!
