My dear blog friends, I have a super huge prayer request for you all today. I know I usually just run the prayer requests on Sunday, but I need your prayers now. I've had the privilege of meeting an absolutely amazing family through our church and this family needs your prayers right now.
This is Seth....
"My name is Seth Carpenter. I am 3 years old and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on January 23, 2011. I am at the beginning of a very long road to recovery, but my mommy and daddy told me God will hold my hand until I am all better again."
You just won't meet sweeter people than this family.
They love the Lord and believe that He will provide every single time.
"Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
If you'd like to read more about Seth's leukemia and his sweet mommy's journey through this, please visit their Caring Bridge page. Seth's mommy recently posted this:
Seth's family is praying that his counts are high enough to begin treatment today. Please join me in prayer as they go through this. I will continue to update you all until Seth is feeling better. This is such a strong family and I know in my heart that God is with them every step of the way.
Thank you each and every one of you who read this. Have a blessed day!
