Crock Pot Chicken and Rice

I truly wish I could take credit for this awesome, super simple recipe. Unfortunately, all I can do is share it with all of you and give credit to Kristin over at Stick a Fork In It!

I found this recipe a couple of weeks ago on Pinterest and decided to try it. I was in a recipe lull and wanted to try something new. I made this for dinner over a week ago and hubby told me that I must continue making it on a regular basis. Guess what is in the crockpot as I type????

This recipe sounds like it may be a little strong flavored, but I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Here's what you do:

Take room temperature cream cheese, one can of cream of chicken soup, and one packet of Good Seasons Zesty Italian salad dressing mix, mix it all together, and pour it over four boneless chicken breasts in the crockpot. Cook on High for four to six hours. 

Before serving, I rinsed some plain white rice until the water was clear and steamed it in my steamer for twenty minutes. Rinsing it before cooking makes it extra fluffy and less starchy (is that a word???). 

I shredded the chicken mixture and poured it on the plain white rice. 
This is so good with a side salad....

My boys will literally leave no leftovers with this dinner! 
If you want something super simple, quick and easy for dinner....you MUST try this one!!!!
