Peace and Patience

Blog friends, I think we're finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Caleb is slowly beginning to feel better!
We have spent many hours doing this all week....

The Lord has revealed many things to me this week and I am so grateful for His guidance....

Ryan and I have prayed over a big decision for our family for a couple of months now.

We decided that we would wait patiently until we understood God's will.
(I didn't really know how I would know that He answered me....)

I am not a very patient person, but God granted me the patience and understanding to get through this.

God let a situation unfold in a certain way so that Ryan and I were absolutely sure what decision had to be made. The Lord's answer for our life was so very clear.

The Lord showed us this week that we had to make a change for our family. He prepared our hearts and minds to go through this months ago. We were ready for the change and God allowed us to handle things the right way - with Christian hearts. I don't think I would have handled it near as gracefully or peacefully had I taken things into my own hands.

The path we take isn't always easy and it doesn't mean that everyone will agree.

As things have progressed through this decision, Ryan and I have discovered that we have so many wonderful friends and family here to support us. Our family has been surrounded with love and prayer. We are so very thankful for the people in our lives. They have guided us in our actions and behaviors so that we may be more like Christ when dealing with tough changes and conflict.
