Pizza Pie

I'm on a roll with this cooking thing, y'all! I gained some weight while we were on vacation last week...so this week I have declared that every meal will be eaten at home. No junk....no extra grease and fat...and a whole lot less money! I've already lost everything I had gained and I'm trying to keep up the losses. I'm tired of being stalled out....

Since everyone was craving pizza, I decided to make a better version. I took a pound of browned ground beef, one diced green pepper, and a small can of mushrooms and sauteed them together.

While that was cooking, I made a crust out of one can of refrigerated buttermilk biscuits...


I added a small can of tomato paste, a half a cup of water, and seasoned it with oregano and garlic. 


Then I spread it all over my biscuit crust...


I topped it with pepperoni (cause every pizza needs pepperoni)...


Top that with two cups of shredded mozzarella cheese and add some grated parmesan for good measure...


Put it in a preheated 400 degree oven and bake for twenty minutes until it looks like this:


Seriously good tastin' stuff!
