I've often heard weight loss pros and experts advise you not to weigh yourself everyday. I tried that....completely didn't work for me. If I don't hold myself accountable every day, I cannot gauge my progress. I weigh myself every single day. Period.
I can automatically tell when I need to adjust something or when to keep things the same.
I also weigh the same time every day so that I have a valid comparison.
Yes, weighing every day may sound slightly neurotic and verges on the side of obsession but it's really the only way I can keep myself on track. If you don't believe me, give it a try. Weigh every single day and see how day to day choices affect your progress. Then go a week without weighing at all. Without that reminder you have no way to gauge what's working and what's not.
