31 Days to A Better You - Day 12

I try to stay active. I really do, but by the time I work all day, get dinner ready, clean up the house, clean up the kid, and get his behind in the bed, I am absolutely exhausted. I'd love to tell you that I somehow manage to fit in at least thirty minutes of exercise every day, but that would be a huge lie. I believe the last time I could actually call something a work out would be my feeble attempt at a mud run in May. 

But, I'm still losing weight..... So how does that work?

I'm very careful about controlling my food intake. Then I try to fit in more activity while I get through my day. At work we have golfcarts to ride around on. My butt doesn't get on those very often. I walk every where. Normally I am in an office during the day, but I move around any chance I get. 

Caleb and I also play a lot. I'm not afraid to go chasing him through the house or out in the yard. He's entertained and I'm burning calories. Total win. We also like to play on the Wii now. I have Just Dance and Caleb loves to play with me. Dancing is an awesome workout! 

Speaking of dancing....I love to dance. I'll shake my booty in the shower or in the kitchen fixing dinner. Ryan and Caleb think this is fun too, so I'm not the only one looking like I'm crazy. 

Caleb has discovered a love of kicking a soccer ball around and throwing a football. I just so happen to love playing those sports too and I jump right in. 

Even though I don't have a structured exercise program, I still find time to get off my butt and get moving.
