Ryan's cousin, Audra, and his Aunt Linda are visiting this week. On Friday Caleb, Audra, and I spent the day together. He's absolutely in love with his "Auda". We decided to let Caleb get rid of his insane amounts of energy at our local children's museum.
I'm not quite sure who had the most fun: Caleb or Audra....
Caleb's facial expressions keep us cracked up! He's such a ham.
He loved playing in the sand and digging for dino bones, but it took two baths to get all of the sand out of his hair and ears....
Caleb decided it would be a great idea to rock climb. I helped him get to the top which was way over my head and then he decided he couldn't get over the top. Luckily Audra came to his rescue!
We finished the day out with ice cream. We ended up at Coldstone Creamery where Caleb decided he wanted pink ice cream with gummy bears mixed in!
Friday morning Caleb got his flu shot and did much better than I expected. Early Saturday morning I heard him cry in his room. When Ryan checked on him, he had gotten sick. While I was cleaning him up, I noticed how pink his skin was. When I took his temperature, it was 103.2! This was his highest temp ever. We gave him Tylenol and put him in the bath tub to cool him down. His fever broke later Saturday morning and he was much better. Now we have a croup cough to go with it, but no fever. I'm not sure if he just happened to catch something or if he's had some sort of reaction to the flu shot. Poor baby!
