I'm still hanging in there with Zumba this week. It actually seems to be getting easier. I'm anything but graceful, so I'm thankful there isn't a mirror in the room with us. I'm also thankful that I have a group of friends doing it too!

This week has been unbelievably hectic. For the past couple of weeks, we have done something every single evening. Since we've got all kinds of stuff going on right now, Caleb and Ryan took me out to dinner last night. Since it was a treat, I actually picked something off the menu I normally wouldn't touch now: Jalapeno chicken wings and fries.

Y'all, I have not had chicken wings and fries in soooo long! It was my first splurge meal in months.

Even though I ordered exactly what I wanted and decided to have a cheat meal, I still didn't pig out. I sat between Ryan and Caleb and they both picked off my plate. Most of the time I am thankful for that, but I honestly wanted every single bite because it had just been so long. At least they saved me from eating extra calories....

Caleb actually surprised us. He wanted one of my chicken wings, but I ordered them extra spicy. I don't have to worry about heartburn anymore since I've lost so much weight. I told him how they would burn his lips, but that didn't stop him from wanting one. I figured he'd give one a try and then throw it down.

Totally didn't happen....

He chowed down on them! He said, "Mom, they're spicy! Can I have another?"

This kid eats jalapeno slices just like his parents...

I don't think my guys will ever let me overeat junk again. They are my built in weight loss plan in a way. 
But, I really just wanted my chicken wings.
