This past Saturday, I was feeling pretty blah. Since I've lost a lot of weight, my body has decided to go into shock a little. Your body stores extra estrogen in any excess fat. Since I happened to acquire quite a lot of fat over the past several years, I also stored up a bunch of estrogen. As I lost weight, that extra estrogen was released into my body. Completely through my cycle out of whack. Over the past few months, I have had some pretty rotten hormonal issues combined with a very irregular cycle. First I had it every other week, and then it went to every six weeks. It's something that happens to some women that lose a significant amount of weight. If you experience something like this, go ahead and talk to your doctor. I got checked out to make sure there were no other health problems and learned that this is just something I had to go through. My doctor explained that things will return to normal once I maintain a certain weight.
So Saturday, I was feeling bloated and blah. I went ahead and did my wrap. Even though it had been two weeks since my last wrap, the only placed I gained inches was in my pooch area. That was only because I was so bloated.
In case you're wondering....
This is what the wrap looks like:
Normally when I wear the wrap, I freeze.
For some reason this time I stayed warm. I felt all tingly and had surges of warmth.
Saturday afternoon, I had finally returned to normal!
It was amazing!
I have been absolutely miserable and swollen for two whole weeks.
I wore the wrap for two hours and literally felt my poor body detoxing.
The next morning I woke up with more energy than I'd had in the past two weeks.
I just felt so much better!
Excuse these pictures. I snapped them with my iPhone because I was just so surprised by the quick results!
Not even 24 hours later, I was not swollen anymore! How crazy is that?!?
As excited as I was, I tried on my first two piece swimsuit in 6 years.
I didn't feel like a cow at all. And then I cried....
(You knew that was coming, right??)
Check back later for my 72 hours post wrap results!
I can't wait to share the continued inch loss....
