"Clean" Strawberry Ice Cream

Now that we're getting used to the whole eating clean thing, I've started getting brave about trying new recipes. No one wants to miss out on the best parts of summer.....swimming, grilling out, and of course ice cream!

I've got a super easy ice cream that tastes amazing without all the additives and sugar!

1 lb of fresh strawberries
2.5 cups of plain low fat Greek yogurt
2/3 cup of honey

I put my strawberries in my little food processor and blended them until I got a soupy consistency.

Mix strawberries with the Greek yogurt and honey.
I placed my mixture in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

Dump it in your ice cream maker and you're good to go!

If you happened to eat the entire tub of this ice cream, you'd consume 992 calories.
But a single serving isn't too bad at 165 calories!

Regular strawberry ice cream has additives and processed junk, with sugar, and still has 300 calories or more per cup of ice cream.

  1. This looks so delish!! I love making simple healthy desserts! And horrible naughty but delicious ones too! LOL I'll be trying this for sure!
