Now that I've taken the time to really celebrate and enjoy reaching my original goal of losing 60 pounds, it's time to reevaluate myself. When I started losing weight, I thought I would be perfectly happy getting back to my smallest weight as an adult. Now that I've enjoyed that for a few weeks, I have realized that I'm ready to work on something else.
I want to push a little further.
Mostly my weight loss has happened through my diet. I have really controlled my foods and eating clean has helped me so much. As I have researched the in's and out's of the clean eating lifestyle, I've grown more and more fascinated by it. So many people are just beyond creative with recipes and I love that!
As much as I would love to just control everything through eating, I think it's time to change some things up again. I want to dig in and really get into what makes by body look and feel better.
I know that muscle tone is not going to come from my kitchen. Too bad, right?
I'm going to shock my system a bit.
My lazy butt is starting Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I will continue to do two hours of Zumba each week as well. I've read pretty good reviews of the program and have seen some great results. If it doesn't work well for me, then I can just change up in 30 days.
My husband has also agreed to something: He's going to workout right along with me and I'm allowed to share his progress and pictures. How cool is that??
