The Workout Mama shared her Home Workout Must Haves with us last week. If you're anything like me, I don't have time to go to the gym! She has some great ideas for those of us who workout at home.

I've been asked several times what to do first if you're just starting out. 
I cannot stress enough the importance of making sure your body is properly hydrated. 
If you aren't drinking enough water for your body, it will work against you each and every time. 

So, how much water should you be drinking each day? 

Take your body weight and divide it in half. That's how many ounces of water your body needs every day to function properly. 

One of the first signs of dehydration is a feeling of hunger. 
Water also helps our bodies flush toxins and waste out properly. 
It helps our organs operate and when we deprive ourselves of it, our entire body notices it. 

Yes, you will go to the bathroom a lot initially, but I promise your bladder will adjust. 
Give it a try and see if the weight doesn't fall off and if you don't feel ten times better physically and mentally!

  1. It's amazing how much a little water can do! Last week there were a couple days where I had practically nothing to drink and I felt it! It's awful!

  2. I most certainly wasn't drinking enough water when I first started but have noticed a huge difference now that I do. When I found out I should be drinking 14 glasses a day I thought I could never do it but it is easier than you think and eventually you won't know what to do without that water bottle by your side!
