While my husband grabs the unhealthiest items on the shelves, I take my time to look at exactly what I'm putting into my body. There are some items that look pretty healthy until you inspect the nutrition labels. It's kinda like searching for a needle in a haystack to find something acceptable...
I was able to find some pretty decent options....
These all natural, freeze dried fruit crisps were actually really good! I couldn't find them in every gas station we stopped, but when I did I stocked up! They are really addictive!
When I couldn't find the crisps, I found these chipins.
They are soooo good!
If you can't find these on the shelves, most gas stations are carrying fruit near the counter.
Combine the options with water or coffee and I was all set for a long road trip!
I didn't feel near as sluggish riding in the car for hours since I fueled my body with better options!
