Yesterday I found out that my stomach just wasn't feeling better. After my run on Wednesday, I was in a lot of pain. My whole right ear was completely stopped up and I had enough! I kept saying for a week, if I'm not better by tomorrow I will go to the doctor. I finally broke down yesterday and Ryan took me.
I was so thankful my mom kept Caleb for us so we could go right after work.
The doctor said I had a pretty nasty sinus infection. I walked out with a steroid shot in the butt, a prescription for an antibiotic and nasal spray, and instructions to take Mucinex, Sudafed, and drink plenty of water. I had no idea that a severe sinus infection could affect your stomach. Lesson of the day: If you feel like crap, go get it fixed.
My Eustachian tube in my ear is definitely acting up again and it's something I will continue to have issues with every time I get a sinus infection.
Ryan and I went to my parents' home to pick Caleb up. My brother and sister-in-law were there with Zoey. The kids were playing on the swing set. Tara leaned over the porch railed and asked Zoey to tell Aunt Wendy what she got.
She said, "Mommy's havin' a baby!"
I looked at Tara and she asked if I understood her.... There was so much squealing!!!! From me....
Tara and I shared our first pregnancies together. It was a little crazy when it dawned on me that this is going to be a completely new experience for us all. I get to enjoy focusing on my new niece/nephew!
We are so excited to welcome a new baby into the family!!!
