Tips & Tricks - Handmade Gifts

I'm all about keeping things simple, but meaningful when it comes to handmade gifts.

(Let's be honest... I don't have a creative bone in my body so simple is always the way to go for me!)

I made a plate a few years ago as a gift. I wanted to share it for those of you who want to do something sweet for someone you love, but don't want to be overwhelmed in the process!

A custom decorative plate!

Ta-da....

Seriously, this is easy!

Grab a clear glass plate (preferably from your local dollar store).
Cut out your favorite picture to fit in the inner circle of the plate.
Flip your plate over, lay the picture face down and apply Mod Podge to seal it.
Let it dry completely!
You may have to lightly sand down any ridges in the Mod Podge after it dries.
Spray paint the back side of the plate in the color of your choice and let dry.

You are now the proud owner of a custom plate!
Don't forget to include a stand for the plate when you're wrapping your gift.

Don’t forget – every link will be shared on the cohosting blogs, our Facebook pages, and pinned to Pinterest!

Now, on to the fabulous party!
