Motivation Monday - Resolutions

Starting this Monday, we have a new schedule for our blog hops! I would absolutely love for you to join us.

I've done fairly well with resolutions in the past. This year I wanted to be a little more specific about my goals. Last year it was fairly easy : Lose weight and reach my original goal weight.

Now that things have slowed down, I want to actually target specific things.

  • Run my first 5K (Hot Chocolate 5K in Nashville on February 15th - Already scheduled!!!)
  • Wear a size 6 comfortably
  • Continue with Zumba classes twice a week
  • Create healthier recipes for my family

What do want to accomplish this year? 


  1. Love your resolutions! I got $ for Christmas to sign up for the Hot Chocolate 15k in Philly!

  2. As a runner, I love your goal to run your first 5k. I predict you love it and will get hooked. :)

  3. I did the Hot Chocolate 15k in St. Louis. It was so much fun, one of my favorite races!

  4. Great resolutions - especially the 5k :) Part of my 2014 resolution is experimenting with bodyweight-style CrossFit to mix with long-distance running! Happy New Year!

  5. I wish the Hot Chocolate Run came here! Instead we have just a chocolate run next month & we are running that one. Have Fun!

  6. I'm thinking of a Hot Chocolate race myself! Yum. :-)

  7. Great goals!! I want to eat more clean, exercise consistently and run 500 miles this year :)

  8. Good luck with your first 5K. I believe that as soon as you cross the finish line that you will be bite by the running bug!
