Good Monday morning! We had an amazing turn out to our first Motivation Monday of the new year. I think everyone was excited about our new hosts too!
This week we're listing the things we'll do differently this year. 2013 was a year of learning for me. Some things worked well, but I also discovered some things that weren't working at all for me.
I'm one of those people that will research something to death. If I find something new I want to try, I'll study about it and try to learn absolutely everything I can. (Yes, I was such a joy in school....)
So here's my list of things I want to do differently this year....
- Drink more water consistently! (Most days I am really great about this and I see the benefits from it. Sometimes, I do slack off and my body suffers from it.)
- Focus on finding the right balance between cardio and strength training.
- I want to complete a 30 Day "Whatever" Challenge. Maybe I'll start with planks and move on to squats. I just want to do one!
- I want to find a healthy balance for my eating. I've spent so much time obsessing over counting calories. Now I want to find healthy options without being a complete slave to the numbers. I need to find what works for me for a lifetime, not just while I'm losing weight. I need to find what works for the "after" part too.
