Birthday Weekend

Thank you all so much for the sweet birthday wishes! I had an absolutely fabulous weekend with my family and friends.

Everyone made sure to fully celebrate with me!

I joked for weeks that I expected an entire weekend of birthday celebration. And that's exactly what I got!

(Full Disclosure: In real life, I am one hundred percent spoiled. I accepted that at an extremely early age and I am fully okay with that. My dad started it all and Ryan continues the tradition.)

Caleb was my date on Friday night. We decided on fishing and a picnic. We didn't catch a thing, but we had fun anyways.

Saturday morning we were up early for our first baseball game of the season.

We have matching team shirts and he's wearing my favorite baseball player's number.
(Want to guess at it? Remember I'm a Southern girl and I tend to fall for the hunky dunky ones....)

I cannot believe how big Caleb is looking now.

This is last year....

Bless his little heart.... His sweet little shoulders can't carry his long last name yet.

You know those parents who "coach" from the bleachers?

My husband is one of those....

It's going to be interesting.....

This is by far my favorite picture of Caleb from the weekend. He looks so big! I love it!

He did great for back to back games! I am so proud of how athletic he is.

Ryan and Caleb took me dress shopping. I really struggled with making a decision. When I was heavier, I would squeeze into something and pray it wouldn't make me look horrible. Now I actually get to pick things I like and can wear them. I am so thankful for that!

I fell in love with all three and they all went home with me....

Saturday night, my in-laws kept Caleb for us. Ryan and I celebrated two friends' marriage.

Fortunately for me, I had a very hot date....

I absolutely love when he dresses up with me.

My sister-in-law has the sweetest preggie belly! I cannot wait to meet my sweet, little nephew.

After the reception, Ryan and I took a walk to the island. It was gorgeous at night.

My brother invited us over to their house to play pool and help celebrate me officially turning 30.

So at midnight.... we were still going!

And no 30th birthday would be complete without acting half your age.

As much as I'd love to know how to ride a motorcycle on my own, I'd better stick to my niece's four wheeler.

My brother and husband are the ones who know how to ride.... Not this girl!

On Sunday morning, Ryan took me on an early morning Jeep ride and out to breakfast. He takes me to breakfast every single birthday and I love him like crazy for it.

I was born on my Granny's birthday. On my 13th birthday, she passed away. I woke up to my mother crying and my birthday mornings are so very difficult. Ryan always makes it easier on me.

I spent Sunday with my little charmer. He's going to be one of those boys....

We picked Zoey up and went to fun day at the ball fields.

I don't think I've ever taken these two somewhere all by myself. I really don't see how moms with more than one handle them! We really had fun and they were so good for me.

We got dressed up for my birthday dinner.

I got to celebrate all weekend and had the best time! I'm absolutely exhausted and playing catch up this week!

Its weird because my birthday is the day my Mom's grandpa died but it was years before I was born. Glad you had a great one!!

I love the growth difference in just a year! He is getting so big. I am looking forward to t-ball and little league with Mason - few more years to go though.
