Coming Soon: Reebok Cardio Ultra and My Shy Side

I'm excited to announce that Reebok is releasing a new studio line of shoes for us high impact lovers! Their new Cardio Ultra line is tailored to those of us who need more cushioning and support. I cannot wait to share them with you!

I am so thrilled to be partnering with Reebok. It feels like such an amazing opportunity for me. As soon as I got the word that they were sending me some stuff I began looking at other fitness bloggers. I have this overwhelming need to present their products properly and there are so many fitness bloggers out there who model clothing fabulously.

Me? Not so much!

I'm not a clothing model by any means! When Ryan tries taking some pictures of me wearing my new Reebok gear, it just doesn't turn out great in my mind. I feel so silly and shy doing it. I can bust out a selfie with my kid like nobody's business, but a real camera with me all by myself? Totally different. I can't do the serious fitness person look... I'm too smiley! I want a cool background and a great stance and then I just stand there smiling.

So I'm stuck between wanting to show off these beautiful shoes and this amazing outfit without looking like a complete amateur. I'd love to be a cool fitness blogger, but at the end of the day I'm just me. I'm awkward at times, I can't be serious, and I'm shy.

Bloggers out there: How do you pull it off? Any tips for this newbie?

Everyone else, what do you want to see most out of the Reebok gear? What questions do you have for me?

Here's a sneak peek just for you!!!!

Check back November 17th for my full review and awkward pics! You can also join me on Instagram for more updates!

  1. I have to say to this post, that I really like it when you do overcome your shyness and post pictures of yourself. I love that you are a "real" person, that your body is a normal person's body. I don't want to see models wearing clothes, because to me that is unrealistic. I love seeing regular people model, because that is more along the lines of what I can see myself wearing and I think it's a lot more healthier for our society as a whole. We are bombarded with images of stick thin models and told that that is the ideal body, when most of us will NEVER achieve that. I love the real. Keep it real. Thank you.

    1. Thank you so much!

I love reading fashion blogs where the women have some curves! I was so intimidated by wearing my boots with leggings because I felt like my calves were too large. I saw all of these boots being shown with an inch of room all the way around and that's not realistic for me. But... Kate over on The Small Things Blog showed off her boots and her calves look similar to mine in boots. She's gorgeous so I thought I'd just get brave and rock my boots too! I've noticed several ladies lately showing off beautiful clothes and they are beautiful, normal looking women.
