I found a zero calorie detox drink on Pinterest and thought I could just give it a shot. Super simple and didn't cost much to make. Why not, right?!? Turns out, it works pretty well!
I changed it up just a bit and I've grown to enjoy drinking the stuff. After dinner, I make a new batch. I fill one pot with hot water, slice up an apple and stick it in the pot along with one stick of cinnamon. I bring it to a boil and then dump it into a large pitcher. I fill it completely with water and stick it in the fridge overnight.
The next day, I start my morning off by drinking it. At first, it tasted a little strange. I could taste both the apples and the cinnamon, but it wasn't that great. So I added a little Splenda and it was much more tolerable! After two days of drinking it throughout the day, I lost five pounds. Pretty amazing, right?!?
I bring my cup of water everywhere I go and drink it before, during and after every meal. The original post admitted to having more energy, but I'm so busy these days that I honestly cannot notice a change. Maybe that's the only way I've survived this week?!? Who knows...
I'm about two pounds away from being right back where I was, but I'm hoping and praying that I'll pass that mark this time around. Something has to give! I haven't lost in three months, friends. I've bounced back and forth with this stubborn thing the entire time. I'll gain and then lose it again. Ugh! I promise I'll be shouting from the rooftops this week if this stuff continues to work! You'll be the first ones to know....Ha! Anyone else out there tried this stuff? Got any other suggestions for me???
